Moving across the world is both exciting and nerve-wracking. There are so many unknowns about culture, accommodation, education, and social norms, but uncertainty is where possibility lives.
I’ve only been in Spain for a short time, but I already know all the stress was worth it. I’ve become more confident trying new things and pushing my comfort zone.
The language assistant community has made a huge impact. It feels like an instant support network, with teachers from RVF and other programs who all share the same mix of excitement and nerves. I’m grateful to have found people who love exploring, making new connections, and learning new languages.
