The best thing I heard this week came from my Head of Studies: ‘Since I met you last week, you haven’t stopped smiling.’ That meant so much, especially after a week full of challenges and change.
In just six days, I moved to a new country, signed a lease, explored my new city and nearby towns, said goodbye to my parents for a year, decorated my room, met amazing new friends, and got to know the sweetest students at my school.
None of this would have been possible without RVF. They made everything, from the visa process to moving abroad, so much smoother. Their support truly made this dream a reality.
My days now are filled with teaching, playing with the kids at recess, exploring beautiful Santander, grabbing pinchos and wine with friends, and lesson planning at cozy cafés.
If you are thinking about teaching in Spain, my advice is simple: stay positive and embrace every challenge. With the right mindset and a great smile, you can handle anything.
